    olin.monster is part blog, part digital garden - 20 years ago this was called a wikilog or bliki. Francis was running one with SnipSnap software at the time. Maggie Appleton (UK) describes a digital garden as such: "A garden is a collection of evolving ideas that aren't strictly organised by their publication date. They're inherently exploratory – notes are linked through contextual associations. They aren't refined or complete - notes are published as half-finished thoughts that will grow and evolve over time." The 'plants' are kept in plain text markdown-jekyll with obsidianobsidian
    Obsidian is free software with which you can edit, organise and link your plain text documents.
